Dr. Olugbenga Runsewe

Founder, Dudu Heritage (Wales)

Dr. Olugbenga Runsewe is an experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with nearly two decades of training and practice in women’s and reproductive health. He graduated from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Nigeria, and completed his postgraduate specialist training at Lagos Island Maternity Hospital and Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, where he earned the Fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS).
He is the Founder of Dudu Heritage Wales, a cultural organisation dedicated to supporting African and ethnic minority communities. Through this platform, he is passionate about creating inclusive spaces that celebrate African culture, reduce social isolation, promote wellbeing, and strengthen connections within the wider Welsh community.

Dr Adebola Adeyemi

Director, Dudu Heritage

Adebola is a Director at Dudu Heritage, where he brings legal expertise, academic excellence, and a strong passion for heritage, culture, inclusion, and community development. He holds law degrees from Lagos State University, the University of Manchester, and Swansea University, and is dual-qualified to practise in Nigeria and in England and Wales. With experience in academia and legal practice across Nigeria and the UK, Adebola supports Dudu Heritage’s mission to celebrate African heritage, promote inclusion, and empower communities through leadership and representation.

Dr. Fehintola Runsewe

Volunteer Team Lead/Head of Programs

Dr. Fehintola Runsewe is a medical doctor and public health professional with nearly two decades of experience spanning clinical care, public health, and health policy. She currently works as a GP Registrar in the UK and has special interests in dermatology, lifestyle medicine, and mental health. After earning her MBBS from the University of Lagos in 2007 and completing her internship at Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), she went on to serve in several impactful medical and leadership roles in Nigeria, including at the Government House Clinic in Ado Ekiti and later with the Lagos State Health Service Commission, where she became Assistant Director of Medical Services. In addition to her healthcare career, she serves as Volunteer Team Lead and Head of Programs at Dudu Heritage CIC, where she helps shape and coordinate initiatives that promote culture, connection, enterprise, and community empowerment. She is also the Convener of South Wales African Vibes (SWAV), a Dudu Heritage initiative that celebrates African heritage and supports stronger community engagement across the diaspora. Her passion lies in empowering people, improving outcomes, and building stronger communities through both healthcare and cultural impact.

Dudu Heritage CIC is a social-impact, community-driven platform empowering Africans and ethnic minorities to thrive holistically in Wales. We create culturally inclusive spaces that celebrate African heritage while promoting connection, well-being, and integration within the wider Welsh community.

Our goals include promoting and celebrating African heritage through cultural events and initiatives, support families and individuals with tools for growth and well-being, foster diversity, inclusiveness, and meaningful collaboration across communities and lastly, to inspire the next generation with pride, knowledge, and opportunities.
